About The Event
This May, Inside Out Well-being will host the UK's first awards ceremony honouring mental health advocates from ethnic minority backgrounds.
Today, ethnic minorities are more likely to be diagnosed with serious mental health illnesses and have the least access to mainstream mental health support.
As a result, many people, groups, and organisations have taken it upon themselves to create innovative ways to increase awareness of mental health and positive well-being within their communities. Workshops, services, campaigns, podcasts, music, and artwork are just some of the ways that individuals are providing guidance, resources, and support. At Inside Out Well-being, we recognise this important work.
Join us on May 26 2022 for the Inside Out Well-being Awards, a ceremony honouring mental health advocates from ethnic minority backgrounds who have made significant contributions to underserved communities.
